Them Lazy Villains are peddlers of the finest unsuccessful country music, locally-sourced from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With their background in the performance and production of a robust selection of funky country/blues/rock cover tunes tinged with their own rootsy sound, the Villains have been skillfully bringing the light-hearted atmosphere of their front porch jam sessions to venues across Pennsylvania and New Jersey since forming in 2017. Between the two of them, Sam Milz (guitar, vocals) and Sean Heffernan (guitar, bass) have a collective 21 years of musical experience under their belt buckles, and their obvious musical chemistry has consistently been an integral part of whatever project they find themselves a part of.

In addition to their work as an acoustic duo, current projects with which Heffernan and Milz are actively involved most notably include Midstate Select-- with whom they released the full length album On the Road to Lonesome, and the Philly-based original band Laura & the Storm.
